Cyansky P10: Portable AA EDC Flashlight
You probably never heard brand name before, Cyansky, pronounced [‘saiæn,skai]. Cyanskylight Co, Ltd., started their businesses in 2017 focusing on LED flashlights, LED headlamps, and accessories for hunting and shooting, police tactical law enforcement and self-defense, outdoor adventure, EDC and et cetera.
Cyansky P10 arrived today from FlashlightGO.com. This nifty, compact portable EDC flashlight runs on the ubiquitous single AA battery. I like the beam profile, which is tight and nice, and the simple user interface. A very decent flashlight for $25.
Here is an overlook on Cyansky P10:
- Single OSRAM DURIS P9 6500K LED emitter
- Single AA alkaline 1.5V battery or NiMH 1.2V battery.
- Stainless steel bi-directional deep pocket clip
- High-quality Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optic lens
- Tail tactical switch, one tap to light up.
- Low voltage warning function.
- Made of aircraft-grade hard aluminum alloy
- Structure anti-reverse connection design
- Intelligent memory function
- Anti-roll design.
- IP68 waterproof and dustproof
- 2 meters of impact resistance
- -30-50° working temperature
Dimension and weight
- 20.55mm*17.5mm*89.3mm
- 31.5 grams without battery and accessories
Operating instructions:
- Lightly press the tail switch to light up instantly, and release it to turn it off.
- Heavy press the tail switch to turn on the flashlight and lock the brightness level. Press again to turn it off.
- Continuous rapid light taps / heavy presses to the tail switch to switch the brightness level.
- When the battery is low, the flashlight flashes 3 times every 3 minutes. It reminds the user to replace the battery.
- The flashlight has a memory function. When the flashlight is turned off, it will save the mode used before. Automatically light up with the saved mode when turning on the power.
- When the flashlight detects that the battery voltage is lower than 1.1V, the flashlight will lower the current working mode until the LOW level.
- HIGH level with time limit protection design. After working on the HIGH level for 120 seconds, the flashlight will lower automatically to 200 lumens to prevent permanent damage to LED by high temperature.

I am using a rechargeable NiMH 1.2V battery during this review. The Cyansky P10's (far-right) beam profile looks quite dense and spreads evenly with a greenish-white tint.
